This wine is light to medium-bodied with an elegant, focused, and beautifully taut texture, typical of the cooler 2021 vintage in Burgundy. The core features prominent, crunchy notes of tart red cherries, wild raspberries, and cranberries, balanced by savory elements of forest floor, damp earth, and a subtle touch of spicy clove from careful oak aging. The tannins are fine-grained but distinctly firm and structured, backed by a bright, vibrant, and energetic acidity. It finishes dry, lean, and long, with a lingering chalky minerality and complex savory red fruit.
