This wine is medium-bodied with a classic, fresh, and linearly structured texture—highly characteristic of the cooler and more traditional 2021 vintage. The core features prominent savory notes of graphite (pencil lead), cedarwood, damp earth, and dried herbs, nicely woven into flavors of crunchy blackcurrants, red plums, and a touch of white pepper. The tannins are fine-grained and slightly firm, giving the wine a solid, aristocratic framework, elevated by a bright, refreshing vein of acidity. It finishes completely dry, clean, and elegant, leaving a lingering impression of mineral-tinged dark fruit and subtle oak.
