Cigar & Brand Story

When Cohiba started in 1963, it was a private roll specially made by cigarette makers for Cuban leader Castro. Soon became Castro's favorite. Cohiba Cohiba is an existing post-revolutionary brand founded in 1966.

Habanos positions it as a global flagship brand and has long been considered synonymous with high-quality Cuban cigars.

The Cohiba Sublime 2004 Limited Edition is a rich Cuban cigar filled with cocoa, coffee and tobacco flavors.

Tasting Note

Flavor transitions are complex. Cocoa and espresso dominate the cigar's aroma, with a perfect balance of earthy, woody, and slight leather notes. There's some very mild pepperiness on the back end. The smoke always stays cool.

The smoke has a nice texture and leaves a roasted coffee bean flavor on the taste buds.

This additional aging process gives the cigar a richer flavor, and the higher sugar content in the wrapper gives the cigar a slightly sweeter taste.
