Cigar & Brand Story

Founded in 1902, Bolivar is named after Simon Bolivar, a famous revolutionary and military strategist in Latin America in the 19th century. His portrait is printed on cigar labels and boxes.

The Partagas Tobacco Factory, now located in Havana, uses fillers and binders from the Vuelta Abajo region to give Polyva cigars an unparalleled mellow flavor. Tasting Note
